About the Opportunity
Our client is an established investor and asset owner within the UK renewable energy sector, managing a diverse
portfolio of operational clean energy projects. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an Analyst or
Associate to support the commercial performance, regulatory compliance, and market activities across their
portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the UK electricity market who enjoys working across
commercial, regulatory and analytical functions within a collaborative investment environment.
The Role
Working alongside commercial, finance, legal and operational teams, you will support the management of marketfacing
activities, monitor regulatory developments, and contribute to the optimisation of commercial performance
across a portfolio of renewable energy assets.
The successful candidate will provide market analysis, support commercial agreements, ensure compliance with
relevant industry requirements, and help identify opportunities to enhance portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities


 Support compliance with UK electricity market rules and industry regulations.
 Assist in the administration and management of commercial energy agreements and market
arrangements.
 Monitor market developments, regulatory updates and industry trends, providing analysis and
recommendations.
 Support revenue monitoring and reporting across a portfolio of renewable energy assets.
 Assist with contractual compliance and the administration of environmental certificates where required.
 Produce commercial and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
 Work closely with internal stakeholders across commercial, finance, legal and operations to improve
portfolio performance.
 Build relationships with external counterparties, consultants and market participants.

About You
 We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
 UK electricity markets and renewable energy.
 Commercial contracts, compliance, settlements or market operations.
 Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Contracts for Difference (CfDs), energy trading or related commercial arrangements.
 Regulatory compliance within the energy sector.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
 Ability to interpret market information and communicate findings clearly.
 Confident working with both internal and external stakeholders.
 A genuine interest in renewable energy and the UK's transition to a low-carbon economy.
