Asset Manager – Energy (BESS)

An investment management firm is hiring an Asset Manager to support the performance and optimisation of battery storage within its Energy Transition team.
The Role
Work closely with the Portfolio Lead to manage asset performance, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure compliance across a growing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support performance and maintenance of BESS & HV assets
- Monitor KPIs and identify optimisation opportunities
- Manage contractor/OEM agreements and compliance
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and lifecycle planning
- Support due diligence and onboarding of new assets
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and investor updates
- Maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Ensure regulatory, safety, and operational compliance
- Conduct occasional site visits
About You
- 3+ years in asset management or energy
- Experience with renewables, BESS, or HV preferred
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Desirable
- Knowledge of HV systems or grid-connected assets
- Experience with SCADA or Capacity Market operations
