The future is powered by renewables. This client is a renewable energy developer: working together with landowners and local communities to increase the amount of clean energy generated in the UK.

This client has a development pipeline of projects supporting the 10GW of connection, which continues to grow. To support our growth plans and is seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management Team and support the development and enable the construction of renewable energy projects, including ground mounted Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Wind Energy.

You will need to be from the development sector in renewables, and a self-motivated and proactive Project Manager that can communicate effectively and build trusted relationships at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest and understanding of renewables, an enthusiasm and passion for working as part of a team to lead and deliver projects with the Managers.

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a complex, exciting and varied Portfolio. Working closely with Land Mangers, Grid Connection Managers, and the Planning Manager you will track, update and work with all functions of the business to orchestrate projects being delivered to the project programme.

Responsibilities

  • Project Managing a portfolio of projects alongside other functions within the business to deliver projects according to Milestones of the Programme.
  • Control the Risk Register, documenting actions, and tracking mitigation.
  • Project Budget control, controlling spend vs approved budgets.
  • Ability to present to key stakeholders project overviews at a senior level.
  • Oversee Due Diligence and collaborate with the project team to mitigate risk against the programme/in line with spend.
  • Update and track the project action log.
  • Design Assurance- Coordinate all aspects of design development.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Construction team.
  • Oversee and update modelling inputs throughout the project life cycle.
  • Leading Project meetings and reviews with the project team.
  • Manage the HSE file to catch actions and decisions in line with CDM best practices.
