🔧 Your Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering technical excellence across complex infrastructure projects by:
- Managing and contributing to electrical engineering design and delivery
- Supporting projects through development, construction, and operational phases
- Producing high-quality technical reports and engineering documentation
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Attending project meetings and presenting technical insights
🎓 About You
You’re a motivated and technically strong engineer with:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
- Experience in energy or infrastructure projects (e.g. Solar, BESS, Wind, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture)
⚙️ Technical Expertise
You’ll bring knowledge across areas such as:
- EHV to LV electrical systems
- Grid connections and embedded generation
- HV/LV switchgear and protection systems
- Substation design and integration
- Working with UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs)
🛠️ What Sets You Apart
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with FAT/SAT testing and construction monitoring
- Ability to assess electrical equipment for compliance and faults
- Solid understanding of health & safety in engineering environments
