An internationally recognised engineering consultancy is looking for a talented Electrical Project Manager / Electrical Engineer to join its expanding team in the North West.

🔧 Your Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering technical excellence across complex infrastructure projects by:

  • Managing and contributing to electrical engineering design and delivery
  • Supporting projects through development, construction, and operational phases
  • Producing high-quality technical reports and engineering documentation
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Attending project meetings and presenting technical insights

🎓 About You

You’re a motivated and technically strong engineer with:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
  • Experience in energy or infrastructure projects (e.g. Solar, BESS, Wind, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture)

⚙️ Technical Expertise

You’ll bring knowledge across areas such as:

  • EHV to LV electrical systems
  • Grid connections and embedded generation
  • HV/LV switchgear and protection systems
  • Substation design and integration
  • Working with UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs)

🛠️ What Sets You Apart

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with FAT/SAT testing and construction monitoring
  • Ability to assess electrical equipment for compliance and faults
  • Solid understanding of health & safety in engineering environments
  • Comfortable working independently and within teams
