Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and organized Electrical Project Manager/Engineer to join our team, working both in the office and on various sites across the country.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform High and Low Voltage installation work as needed on all projects.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance as required on all sites.
  • Manage High and Low Voltage electrical design, specify plant equipment, and liaise with subcontracted designers for High Voltage design.
  • Analyze site performance to identify opportunities for improvement in ongoing operations.
  • Identify, record, and resolve faults with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Complete designs and reports.
  • Review and monitor all managed renewable energy sites on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage.

Essential Requirements:

  • City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma.
  • BS7671 18th Edition certification.
  • High Voltage experience.
  • Methodical, accurate, and process-focused approach.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Willingness to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the renewables industry.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in PV installation and maintenance, as well as onshore wind.
  • CAD experience.
  • Experience in communications setup and configuration.
  • HV Authorised Person / Switching Course certification.
  • 18th Edition Amendment 2 certification.
