Planner – Renewables | North West England
Join a growing European energy group expanding its UK renewables portfolio. With over 2GW of wind and solar projects delivered across Europe, they’re now strengthening their UK development team.
They’re looking for a hands-on RTPI Planner to take projects from early concept through to planning consent—working across environmental, technical, grid, and stakeholder elements on both wind and solar schemes.
What you’ll do:
- Lead feasibility and planning for renewable projects
- Manage consultants, landowners, and local authorities
- Oversee EIA and environmental inputs
- Support budgets, programmes, and project delivery
- Represent projects at public and community events
What they’re looking for:
- UK planning experience (England or Scotland)
- RTPI-affiliated or working towards chartership
- Background in rural, environmental, or infrastructure projects
- Interest in renewables and grid processes
- Strong communicator and organiser
