Senior Surveyor - Infrastructure

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced RICS Surveyor based in London or Kent to join our Infrastructure team.

As a Senior Surveyor, you will deliver a property service with a strong rural focus, including compensation for temporary and permanent land acquisition and the valuation of rural land and property. You will also play a key role in leading, developing, and delivering strategic and tactical advice to clients operating in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Valuation of rural land and property.
• Negotiation of compensation claims.
• Developing new business opportunities and client relationships, with a particular focus on claimants and landowners in the local area.
• Driving forward initiatives that support business growth.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal systems and processes, including the effective use of IT and other resources.
• Implementing company policies and ensuring legal compliance across all work undertaken.
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members in their professional development.

Requirements

• RICS qualification and/or Registered Valuer status.
• Experience within the rural sector, with a sound understanding of compulsory purchase and compensation matters desirable.
• A business-development mindset, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Confidence in driving initiatives forward while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A full driving licence.
