Technical Engineering Manager - Waste & Recycling - South East England
Our client seeks an experienced and technical engineering leader within the waste and recycling industry. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing projects to enhance waste material processing.
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering and Technical Support: Provide support to the waste management business.
- Process Machinery Design: Design, implement, and refine machinery for waste material processing.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Budget Management: Assist in the creation and management of project budgets.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers, attend trade shows and conferences, and visit supplier facilities.
- Team Advocacy: Secure adequate capital expenditure (capex) for team needs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including department heads.
- Expertise Maintenance: Keep up-to-date with industry expertise.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all processes meet quality and safety compliance standards.
